Technologies of the future such as robotics and artificial intelligence are currently finding their way into the everyday teaching of many schools. The importance of these key disciplines for our society and economy is growing rapidly. New generations of collaborative robots, which enable direct cooperation between humans and machines, are now giving schools the opportunity to prepare their students for the working world of tomorrow. The creation and design of appropriate teaching concepts and the transfer of the relevant knowledge requires a great deal of commitment and dedication on the part of the teachers. The Robokind Foundation would like to make this commitment visible by awarding the seal of quality “robotikaffine Schule”!
Seal of approval after use of robotics
Bronze: Teaching with MRK
Application scenarios in the classroom in which collaboration between humans and robots is in the foreground
Silver: Teaching with sensitive robotics
Application scenarios in teaching that require the sensitive capabilities of the robot, e.g. Responsive Interaction
Gold: Teaching with Artificial Intelligence
Use scenarios in the classroom in which robots are equipped with machine intelligence and learn to manipulate their environment.
Reasons for participating
Raising the school’s profile: Shaping and developing teaching concepts through the cross-curricular integration of technology
Multipliers: Passing on knowledge in the training of users for collaborative robots
Networking and exchange: Establishment of a Germany-wide network of Robonatives, also to organize conferences, conventions or competitions on the topic of MRK
Appreciation: Attracting sponsors, knowledge carriers and supporters to give visibility to the project, recognition of the pioneering work of teachers.
Frequently asked questions
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? All types and forms of schools can apply and there is no cost involved!
UNTIL WHEN CAN I APPLY? The award is granted every three years. The application is made (deadline 30.06.2024) via our online form (see below).
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION?
I. at least one trainer license per school II. access to collaborative robots through own acquisition or in cooperation with other schools (a positive decision from N21 on the application within the framework of the master plan digitalization is also sufficient for the time being, as this makes robot acquisitions possible) III. active use of the robots in the classroom IV. Member of the Robonatives Network
WHO SELECTS THE WINNERS? A jury composed of foundation employees and external consultants evaluates the applications and decides on the award.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE FEEDBACK ON MY APPLICATION? At the end of the respective school year

FILES
Here we need at least 2 (better 3-5) photos showing robotics at your school. You can simply upload them here.
Especially desirable would also be a video showing the use of robotics at the school.
If there are problems with the upload, you can also send the material to the Robokind Foundation via e-mail or FTP. For example, a download link to the video will also suffice. Please contact guetesiegel@robokind.de if you have any questions.
And now good luck with your application. We are looking forward to your submission!
