Nature Research: The humans at the heart of AI

The recent Nature Research article “The humans at the heart of AI” focuses on advanced AI-research at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

The two sides of the AI-research at the TUM are presented in this publication:

First, the research activities of the Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MSRM) – of which Robokind founder Sami Haddadin is the director – on embodied artificial intelligence, and second, the data-centric research perspective of the recently founded Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI). Furthermore, the integration of ethics into the technology development process at TUM will also be addressed.
