Robot Drivers License 4 Kids

The nonprofit foundation’s new course offering took place during the 2020 summer and fall vacations, providing a welcome change of pace for students in Hanover and the surrounding area during the vacations in times of the coronavirus pandemic.

Encouraged by the positive feedback from participants, we would now like to offer the course on a regular basis for interested children and adolescents.

The course is divided in a varied way into games and joint handicrafts, independent individual work on the digital learning platform, group work as well as practical exercises directly on the industrial robot. Participants will learn about app-based programming of the robot and learn more about human-robot collaboration (MRC) and the latest generation of sensitive robots. On the last day of the course, it will be particularly exciting once again when the students have to put their newly acquired knowledge to the test in the Robothon. At the end of the course, all students receive a certificate of participation in the form of a robot driver’s license.

As soon as the new dates for 2021 are set, they will be published here.

*The courses will take place in consideration of the Lower Saxony ordinance on infection control measures against the spread of Corona virus. (The Foundation reserves the right to cancel the course for the protection of participants and staff in consideration of the recommendation of the Robert Koch Institute and the health offices.)

**The non-profit foundation wants to enable inclusion and participation of all people in its educational offerings and therefore asks to be contacted if participation with physical limitations is desired or if the financial means for course participation are currently not available: “We will find a solution together!”
